It's about time that we get our merchandise! What a great feeling when the truck arrived.

It took David and I two weeks of 'fighting' with our very irresponsible broker and placing phone calls everyday to the US Customs Service to get this trailer to finally come us. We were all waiting at the front door. I have never been so excited about seeing a truck. Most of the time, I wonder what it takes for a trailer to come into to the United States and then distubute the goods to all the major retail locations. Now I know. It was not easy. Every step of the way has involved a great number of people. Anyhow, we then got the trailer opened...
...and find out that everything is actually piled up all the way to the top of the trailer. We were all staring at that for minutes and then warmed up, sung "Eye of the Tiger" and started... After about hour and a half, this is what the inside of the store looked like...
...250 boxes, 3 tea tables, and 2 bistro tables later, ORiEnTspiration™ began to take shape. The following 12 hours, we were all at the store cleaning, unpacking and looking at all the very beautiful stuff being unpacked out of the cartons. Do you remember what it is like being a kid opening presents at Christmas? That was pretty much what we were feeling like those 12 hours. It was a long 12 hours, but we were all very excited. At the end of the day, we were sore; we had bruses, cuts, and aches. However, we were also laughing, playing and enjoying the early 'Boxing Day'. Very soon, ORiEnTspiration™ will be open. Keep checking back with us. You won't be able to stop coming in once we are open.
