White Peony Tea

White Peony or Bai Mu Dan (Chinese: 白牡丹) is the second finest White tea after the highest grade Silver Needle. Our White Peony is made from carefully picked tea buds and leaves from the strain of tea trees, undergoing just steaming and drying to leave it close to its natural state. Like Silver Needle, White Peony is known to have anti-toxin and cooling properties to help to decrease body heat.

You will notice a very mild peony aroma when brewing the tea and a floral aroma, the tea is best brewed with mineral water and between 70 and 80 degree C (158 and 176 degree F). The color of the tea should be pale green or golden color.

Each ounce of tea yields approximately 8 to 10 servings.
